IAB TCF and Google certification: where we are.
Sadang is not yet registered with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework and is not a Google-certified CMP. Here is what is built and what comes next.
| Item | Status | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Google Consent Mode v2 | Live | Google tags receive the choices visitors make in the banner. Gaps still in development are listed on the Consent Mode page. |
| IAB TCF code (TC string, __tcfapi, vendor list, Additional Consent) | Built, switched off | Built in the banner, not used on any site until registration |
| IAB Europe CMP registration and CMP ID | Not registered | Sadang cannot be used where a TCF-registered CMP is required |
| Google-certified CMP for publishers | Not certified | Publishers serving personalised Google ads in the EEA, UK or Switzerland need a certified CMP |
| Google CMP Partner Program (Consent Mode) | Not yet applied | See what we are finishing first on the Consent Mode page |
What comes next.
Registration with IAB Europe means applying through its CMP portal, passing its validation test and paying an annual fee. TC strings have had to follow TCF v2.3 since 1 March 2026, and IAB Europe has announced further changes for 2026. We will register when the TCF features are ready to switch on for customers who need them, and we will update this page with our CMP ID.
If you publish ads through Google today and need a Google-certified CMP, use one now. Sadang can be set up to read the choices made in some widely used consent platforms, so it can still run alongside one for measurement and attribution - ask us whether yours is supported.
